learned by some of the Volleyball members as Mrs. Flah-
erty took five of the girls to a volleyball convention in Car-
penteria last summer. Under the. direction of Mrs. Flah-
erty the Varsity and].V.'s finsihed with a 5-3 season. The
girls got off to a good start by coming from behind to
defeat Quartz Hill. In every league contest Varsity and
J.V.'s had identical win-loss records. Junior Varsity tied for
first place in the post season tournament at Canyon High
School. Varsity pulled out a second place, losing only to
Canyon. Next year will see a more experienced and sea-
soned team, and undoubtedly - a winning one.
