Nice teeth! Sophomores Lisa Gassner
and Mike Wambolt give each other a
kiss at the winter dance.

Although fairly new to the dating
game, sophomores knew what they wanted in a relationship.
"It may seem funny," Lisa Gassner confessed, " ... but the first
thing I look for in guys is their teeth. If they don't have a nice
smile, I won't be dating them any time soon."
Generally, sophomores agreed that even though it was
looks that made a memorable first impression, compatible
personalities were what kept a relationship going. "I think
your boyfriend (girlfriend) should be your good friend if not
your best," remarked Jannelle Bertoldo.
Sadly however, " ... some relationships are not meant to
last long," observed Andrew Nicoletti. Lindsay Aitken revealed
the few things she would absolutely not tolerate in a relation-
ship: " ... dishonesty, unkept promises, constant broken plans,
