WELCOME
Welcome to another exciting Boys' Club fund-raiser. This auction will be the major fund-
raising event for us in 1972.
The Boys' Club of Newhall-Saugus is a chartered member of Boys' Club of America and is
located in Northern Los Angeles County, in this area often called Valencia Valley. It is our
purpose to provide after-school recreation, education, skills and guidance to all the boys
and girls in the communities of Newhall, Saugus, Valencia and Castaic.
We haven't reached that goal; but we're on our way. After only four years of building, we
have almost 1,000 card-carrying members: boys, girls and teen-agers from 7 to 18 years of age.
We maintain a clubhouse in downtown Newhall and supervise activities 6 days a week in four
satellite branches: Valley View School, Skyblue Mesa School, Emblem School, and St. Stephen's
Episcopal Church. We will continue to expand until we meet the needs of every youngster in
this valley.
We welcome you to this event. Your participation in this affair will ultimately provide needed
recreation and education opportunities for all the boys and girls in Valencia Valley.
