Perfect IO! Sophomore Ingrid Young leaps into a flawless split.
Her interest in figure skating was provoked by her mother when
Ingrid was just seven years old. Figure skating is truly a strenuous
sport, but since her initial interest until now, she has dedicated
much of her time into making herself a better skater. In the future,
Ingrid plans on making a career out of this sport, hoping that
she will one day be on China's national team.
Twirly Whirly. Christina Marie Ressler, a senior,
displays her spins on the ice. Her dedication in the
sport has resulted in three years of perfecting her
skills in figure skating. Christina's interest in the sport
was sparked by watching the Winter Olympics
Skating Competition as well as the televised skating
competitions year round. This constant work ethic
tends to take time away from school and work;
however, her dream of making a career out of her
skating passion constantly pushes her.
Break it down. Casey Schein, one of the few freshman members of this year's Hip Hop
Team, demonstrates his "windmill" during the black light rally. Casey has been break-dancing
for just over a year but has three years of hip-hop under his belt. After seeing people on
television break-dance, as well as his older brother Jeremy try, he decided that the activity was
worth his time. In the future, Casey hopes to use his dancing, break-dancing, and popping skills
in some kind of entertainment career.
