Hop on the bandwagon! One of the newest
phenomenon to hit the \11-lS Campus this ,ear is
the band "Tacit', which features \11-lS's own Chris
Buongiorno and Greg Meltzer, as well as Hart
High students, James Bianco, Jake Handler, and

event Tacit was formed on November 8th, 2002
when mutual friends introduced the members.
After meeting and developing their musical st}1e,
which re~ects bands such as Thrice, AFI, and Poison
The Well, the band members had to come up
with a name. After studying music composition, they
found the word "Tacit," which means "silence." They
ended up using this title based on the ironic
features it display.;. Currently the only CD that they
have released is "Words Not Said" EP, which was
released on January 30th, 2004; however, every:me
should be on the lookout for this band in the
future, as their friendship constantly gives them
inspiration as well as motivation.
The little drummer boy. Freshman Kenny Tang
demonstrates his skills on the drums at his house. Sparking
his interest was watching "My Generation" and hitting things.
Kenny has been playing the drums for only one year but
has plans on making a career out if it
You and I both.. Another new band whose name is
being said all around campus is you/Me. This band consists
of VHS Alumni Jeremy Quintero and Senior Kevin Herrera,
both of whom share the guitar and vocal talents. you/Me
takes inspiration from such bands as The All-American
Rejects and Dashboard Confessional. Be on the watch for
this upcoming band, as their first full-length CD, "College,"
is due out in Spring 2004.
