Hart l Blair 0 Quick thinking and fast moving were the rwo main items
Hart 30 Glendale 0 that helped Hart's sophomore football team win seven out of
Hart 20 Hoover 6 nine games. There were many exceptional plays that were
Hart 7 Canyon 20 made by Mark Simmons, Rick Curasi, and Greg Thon on
defense and Casey Hatton, Tim Knights, Keno Shaw, and
Dave Duncan on offense. Exceptional sophomores were
tackle Mike Herrington and halfback Mark Nocciolo. Top
players of the junior class were center Mike Fisher, linebacker
Henry Franco and split-end Monty Solis.
Coach Alan Hanson did an unsurpassed job in arranging
and working with the ream. He also strove to build team
spirit.
