Heidi Rae Levy was born March 4, 1950 in San Diego, Ca. The world changed the day she came into it and it will never be the same since she's left. It's hard to define her because as we all know she was one of a kind. If you knew Heidi, you just had to love her. She lived her life out loud. Heidi was the life of any party and would make sure you knew that. Her smile was infectious but her laugh was even better. She was energetic and hard working. Heidi would often brag about how many miles she walked in a work day because she loved her job that much. For 20 years she worked as campus security throughout Santa Clarita Valley. Heidi loved every single kid she helped throughout her career as if they were her own. She impacted so many students lives just by listening to them, hugging them, and making them feel loved. Heidi was the only staff member to ever receive a standing ovation from every student during Bowman graduation. They came together as a class to honor Heidi and recognize her significance in their lives. Her job gave her purpose and she took pride in what she did. Heidi liked to live each day as if it were her last. She had a new love of travel and in the last few years started seeing the world. Her bucket list grew longer as each year passed and she had a sense of adventure that never dulled. After over 20 years together, Heidi married her longtime partner, Luis in the summer of 2019. In true Heidi fashion, she wore her bedazzled sandals on the big day. Luis and Heidi had a passionate love for each other and even after 20 years, it still showed. Heidi's love for her children was what gave her life meaning. She worked hard to provide a life she never had and put her all into raising them. Her twins, Ryan and Kayla, were her reason. She was so proud of them for every accomplishment, big or small, and would brag about them to anyone who listened. She loved them and never missed an opportunity to tell them that. Heidi's most prized title however was Nana. The love she had for her grandchildren had no bounds. Heidi loved every one of her 6 grandchildren so much and her biggest joy came from watching them grow. She loved her baby snuggles and couldn't wait for her picture updates. As a family, we promise to keep her memory alive with her grandchildren and they will always know she's proud of them. In the past two years, Heidi had the opportunity to reconnect with her first born son and his family. Finding Mike was one of the highlights of her life and she was eager to make up for their lost time. Heidi also had the chance to reconnect with long lost family members over the last few years and it meant so much to her. Heidi is survived by her husband, Luis, her son, Ryan, his wife, Cory, and their children, Marlee and Ryot. Her daughter, Kayla, her husband, Eric, and their son, Oliver. Her stepson, Eric, his wife, Bianca, and their son, Alexander. Her son Mike, his wife Cristal and their son, Tyler. Heidi Rae Levy was a vivacious, fun loving, loud and energetic human being. They broke the mold when God made her. Unique, courageous and beautiful... she can never be replaced. We will miss you. |
