Written in part by employees of Copper Eagle Patrol & Security
William Carl Corbett, Chief of Copper Eagle Patrol & Security, passed away the evening of June 5, 2013. He was 71.
Corbett had spent the last two decades building Santa Clarita’s premier security company. A pillar in his community, he earned numerous awards and accolades from various venues such as Concerts in the Park, The Signal, and the Michael Hoefflin Foundation.
Corbett had a love for Santa Clarita, for its people and its beautiful environment, and so selected our city as a place to raise his family and build his business. When he was diagnosed with a terminal illness last year, Bill raised up his dedicated team of employees to succeed him, planning for the future of the company he had poured himself into. Under the experienced leadership of Maura Corbett and Isaiah Talley over the past year, the company that Bill built has continued to win awards and grow stronger in its community presence. Copper Eagle Patrol & Security stands on its own thanks to the hard work of William Corbett, and we will be honored to serve our community for many years to come.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Murphy Corbett; his two daughters: Gayle Corbett-Drees and Maura Corbett; his grandchildren: Cody, Jason, Bryson, and Kayden.
There will be a wake on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 1:00 pm. at Real Life Church, 23841 Newhall Ranch Rd, Valencia, CA 91355.
